Cruise ship season in St. John’s officially begins tomorrow with the scheduled arrival of the Silver Seas Cruise Line ship, the Silver Dawn.
The vessel, with approximately 660 people on board, is scheduled to dock in St. John’s tomorrow at 1:00.
Some 39 cruise ships carrying more than 39,000 passengers and representing 18 cruise lines, are scheduled to visit St. John’s harbour this season. Councillor Jill Bruce says cruise tourism has a positive economic impact on the region.
Parking on Harbour Drive will be limited during cruise ship visits.
