The Premier is reflecting on his first few weeks in office as he concludes the spring sitting in the House of Assembly.
The House of Assembly closed early yesterday, and it’s doubtful that politicians will be back in the legislature before a general election is called.
Newly-elected Premier John Hogan is pleased with the work that was carried out during the sitting.
He says his new cabinet is focused on the people of the province when it comes to issues such as affordability. Hogan says they’re especially focused on doing more for seniors.
PC Leader Tony Wakeham criticized Hogan for closing the house early, saying there’s more work to be done.
He wanted to see movement on things such as the creation of an office for a Disabilities Advocate.
