A 49-year-old man is without his license after police say he was caught driving more 60 km/h above the posted speed limit just north of Gander on Saturday.
RCMP clocked the pickup going 143 km/h on the Gander Bay Road near Jonathan’s Pond Campground, which is normally an 80 km/h zone.
The driver was ticketed for excessive speed, his licence was suspended, and his vehicle was seized.
