A 44-year-old man was recently stopped on the Trans Canada near Corner Brook after police clocked his vehicle driving at speeds nearly twice the posted speed limit.
RCMP pegged the man’s vehicle traveling at 180 km/h in a 100 km/h zone.
He was ticketed for excessive speeding, his licence was suspended, and the vehicle was impounded.
