A 29-year-old man is in the lockup after causing trouble in the downtown area overnight.
Police were called about a man knocking on doors and attempting to get inside homes on Queens Road just after midnight. When the man was told he wasn’t welcome, he began to threaten homeowners.
He was arrested in the area of Carter’s Hill a short time later and charged with uttering threats and breach of release order.
He was held for court.
