Officials are keeping a close eye on a wildfire reported outside Churchill Falls.
The blaze was first reported yesterday afternoon near the ski hill.

Fire crews are responding to a wildfire reported this afternoon near the ski hill in Churchill Falls.
Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is currently actioning the fire with helicopters, while additional support — including a water bomber, a second helicopter, and three wildland firefighters — has been deployed from Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
Officials say there is no immediate threat to the community, but the situation remains fluid. The Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture is monitoring the response.
