The provincial government will provide an update on the proposed school for Kenmount Terrace today.
The school was first announced in 2023, with plans to open to students in September of 2026, but since then there’s been little to no action at the site and parents are seeking answers.
As of last year, then-premier Andrew Furey indicated that planning was on schedule, yet construction has yet to begin.
Last month, government indicated that planning is progressing, and while a tender for construction has been called, the timeline remained unclear.
Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure Elvis Loveless will provide an update on the process today at 12:30.
