The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary has released more information about a manslaughter investigation in the centre city area.
Twenty-three-year-old Dylan Baker appeared in court today on numerous charges after a 63-year-old man died following an incident on Salisbury Street early Tuesday morning.
Baker is charged with manslaughter, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, and breach of probation.
The investigation is ongoing. Police are looking for video footage from the area of Suez Street, Empire Avenue, Newtown Road, Liverpool Avenue, and Cairo Street, between 10:00 p.m. Monday and and 1:00 a.m. Tuesday.
