A man and a child have died following a house fire in Seal Cove on the Baie Verte Peninsula early this morning.
First responders were called to the scene on Andrews Road shortly after 3:30 a.m.
The RCMP say a man, a child, and a pet died inside the home. A woman was able to escape and was transported to hospital for medical attention.
A fire scene investigator is on the scene today, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has been contacted.
