Organizers of the upcoming Canada Summer Games are introducing a music and entertainment festival slated to run throughout the games.

“Arta Vista” will move around the metro region, featuring music from artists from across the country and Newfoundland and Labrador.

Some of the artists include those from the Francophone, Indigenous and Pride communities.

Canada 2025 Summer Games Host Society co-chair Karl Smith says many of the artists are those that people may not have heard of.

“They’re very excited to get the exposure that the Canada Games will bring to them and we’re very excited to give them the opportunity to do that and hopefully this is the start of a bigger and better audience for these people.”
