The annual Mundy Pond Regatta is just a few weeks away.
Ward 3 councillor Greg Noseworthy says the annual event, which was revived a few years ago, is scheduled for Saturday, July 5th.
“It’s going to be a great time,” says Noseworthy.
The regatta runs from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and includes a variety of events for the whole family.
“It’s a smaller regatta, of course, compared to the larger one down at (Quidi Vidi) Lake in August, but it’s still a great time, and I really encourage as many folks as possible to get out and take it in. There’s going to be a dance after, and all that good stuff.”
