The Northwest River in Terra Nova National Park is being opened this weekend for a limited recreational salmon fishery.
Parks Canada says the fishery will be open from this Saturday until July 31, with a total quota of 100 fish.
Anglers who wish to participate must have both a provincial inland salmon license, and a national park salmon license.
The provincial license must be purchased receiving a national parks one, the latter of which can be picked up for free at the Northwest River Kiosk in the park.
