Punishing temperatures aren’t letting up in Central Canada during a record-breaking heat wave and while temperatures will warm up in Newfoundland tomorrow, no heat warnings are expected.
Environment Canada says today’s humidity is expected to make it feel like upwards of 40 degrees in many cities in Ontario and Quebec that are under heat warnings.
Heat warnings are also up for parts of the Maritimes including New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
Environment Canada meteorologist Ian Hubbard says things in Newfoundland will cool quickly.
He says a change in the air mass Thursday will result in cooler temperatures and dry conditions.
