The provincial government is sending a contingent of cabinet ministers to London to try to attract talent, boost tourism and expand trade and investment with the U.K.
Ministers Steve Crocker, Gerry Byrne, and Fred Hutton are in London for the Canada-U.K. Business Summit and to attend a series of other events.
The business summit, involving some 150 business leaders and government representatives, will feature two prominent panel discussions highlighting changes in the NL mining and technology sectors.
The ministers will attend an invitation-only reception at Canada House on Thursday for a Canada House National Day reception, followed by a travel trade luncheon on Friday hosted by the Department of Tourism.
The ministers will also take part in a Canada Day Celebration in Trafalgar Square on Saturday and offer personalized guidance to those interested in coming to NL in an Immigration Pathways event at Canada House next Monday.
