One of metro’s busiest intersections will be down to one lane in most directions over the next week as work continues to replace traffic lights in the area.
Work began on the Topsail Road/Commonwealth Avenue intersection last weekend.
Beginning today, the Mount Carson/Commonwealth stretch will be reduced to one lane in each direction, and Topsail Road will be down to one lane heading eastbound.
Actual work will be paused over the weekend – including Monday and Canada Day on Tuesday, and will begin again on Wednesday.
Work is expected to be clewed up by Friday.
