RCMP are investigating after someone set fire to a vehicle parked at a home on Keat’s Avenue in Grand Falls-Windsor earlier this week.
RCMP were called just before 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
The occupants were removed from the home which sustained some damage from the flames, but the vehicle was destroyed.
Police say an off-road vehicle was in the area around 4:40 the same morning, and stopped in front of the driveway. Moments later the ATV sped off just before flames could be seen.
The ATV is described as a red quad or possibly a trike while the driver is a slim man who was wearing a dark-coloured hoodie with large white lettering.
Residents of the area are being asked for surveillance footage between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m. on June 24th.
