Ukrainian officials say Russia has launched what it describes as the largest aerial attack since the war began more than three years ago.
The two sides have been at odds since 2022, and despite multiple rounds of talks, the two sides have shown little to no pathways to peace.
Officials say at least two people are dead, and eight others suffered injuries following the attack.
According to their air force, one of its western-supplied F-16 warplanes crashed after sustaining damage while shooting down air targets.
