Three people have been arrested in relation to what RCMP say was a serious assault at Da Shed pub in Happy Valley-Goose Bay early Saturday morning and a series of other crimes.
RCMP were contacted around 2:45 Saturday morning about an assault with a weapon inside the bar.
The three suspects fled the area in a truck before police arrived.
The victim was taken to hospital in Happy Valley-Goose Bay for treatment of their injuries which were not believed to be life-threatening.
Police subsequently received reports of crimes involving the same suspects and vehicle, including two residential break-ins, and reports of property damage.
The vehicle was found by police, but sped away when officers tried to pull it over. It was later found abandoned. The K-9 unit was called in to track the suspects leading to the arrest of 38-year-old Jennifer Michelin. An underage person was arrested later in the day and 21-year-old Tristen Michelin was arrested on Monday.
All three are charged with aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, two counts of break and enter, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, flight from police and multiple counts of damage to property.
RCMP say the assault at the bar and the other crimes are believed to be targeted attacks. The investigation continues.
