RCMP have issued a warrant for the arrest of a 25-year-old Stephenville man.

Police say Jonathan Burke, wanted on breaches of a conditional sentence order, has been evading their efforts to arrest him for some time.

He is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall with a slim build and light-coloured patchy facial hair.

He is believed to be in the Bay St. George area.

RCMP say Burke was recognized as a passenger in a vehicle pulled over by police on Saturday evening, but he fled from officers and has not been seen since.
