A 46-year-old man has been arrested and charged following an alleged sexual assault at a bus stop in the Village Shopping Centre parking lot on Saturday.
The RNC were called to the area just before 7 p.m. and say officers found a sexual act occurring between a man and a woman.
The RNC’s Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit was called in to investigate, and on Monday 46-year-old Rodney Pardy of St. John’s was charged with an indecent act and sexual assault.
The accused was held for court.
