It took a while, but a man who sped off when RNC flashed the lights on him in downtown St. John’s yesterday is in custody.
Officers patrolling the downtown noticed a vehicle being driven erratically but he instead made his way to the Outer Ring Road. That’s where the incident came to an end with the 44-year-old being charged with flight from police and dangerous driving.
He will appear in court today.
