There is a heat warning out for many parts of the province—and it’s not going to end anytime soon.
Environment Canada says temperatures are going to be near 30 degrees daytime for the next several days—from Friday afternoon until the middle of the week. And don’t expect much relief overnight. Temperatures won’t go much below 16.
The heat zone is basically the northern half of the island, including metro St. John’s, and most of Labrador.
There is no rain in the forecast which likely means that some restrictions on water usage are coming.
