A 45-year-old man is facing a slew of charges as the result of a chase after a pickup truck reported stolen from the Cashin Avenue area yesterday.
The RNC were called about the theft of the black Ford F-150 just before noon.
Shortly after that call came in, a man driving a vehicle matching the description had reportedly just stolen fuel and other items from a downtown gas station before taking off.

Officers caught up with the truck, but the driver failed to pull over. The vehicle was later located in the parking lot of the Village Shopping Centre.
The truck eventually came to a stop on a small embankment with a trail linking the parking lot and Robinson’s Place.
The driver, who was believed to be impaired by drugs, is facing numerous charges including theft of a motor vehicle, dangerous operation of the same, theft under $5,000, and refusal.
He was held for court.
