A 33-year-old driver who was clocked at speeds 63 km/h over the posted speed limit has had his licence suspended and his vehicle seized.
RCMP say the man’s Dodge Caravan was pulled over on the Hansen Highway near Stephenville by a patrol officer around 4:00 o’clock Tuesday afternoon.
Police say the mini-van was travelling at speeds of up to 143 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
