RCMP in Twillingate are investigating a fire in Bayview that destroyed a shed on a residential property on the main road.

The fire was reported around 3:30 Friday morning.

The Twillingate Fire Department was quick to the scene and knocked it down before it could spread to surrounding homes.

There were no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation and anyone with dash cam or surveillance footage early Friday morning in the area of Bayview Street is asked to contact the RCMP 709-884-2811 “as soon as possible.”
