A man from Nova Scotia has been charged with drunk driving after crashing his vehicle in Swift Current Tuesday night.
First responders were called after a vehicle went off the Burin Peninsula Highway just after 7 p.m. – which was around the same time RCMP had received multiple calls about a possible impaired driver in the area.
The 65-year-old driver showed signs of intoxication and was taken to the detachment where he refused to provide breath samples.
He faces charges of impaired driving and refusal. His vehicle and licence have been taken.
