Once again, Newfoundland and Labrador spent more on the lottery per capita than any other Atlantic province.
According to the Atlantic Lotto Corporation, profits for the province jumped from $147 million to $153 million in 2024-25 compared to the previous year.
Online casino and slot games saw significant growth across all four provinces, with ALC citing Newfoundland and Labrador as a major factor in the jump.
Overall, Newfoundlanders and Labradorians spent $118 million at video lottery terminals, down $6.3 million from the last reporting period.
ALC says it awarded $461 million in prizes, an increase of nearly $14 million.
