The Canadian Nurses Association has launched a Newfoundland and Labrador chapter.
The Association says the new structure will help to strengthen the voices of nurses in the province, enhance their influence on health policy, and promote better engagement.
As a result, the Association is inviting members to participate in election of the chapter’s first executive team, which will include two co-chairs, a treasurer and a secretary.
Eligible members who wish to put their name forward may do so next month, with the voting period happening in mid-January.
