Deer Lake RCMP are hoping to identify a driver who investigators believe may have information related to a suspicious incident in the parking lot of the local Dairy Queen.

Police were called around 6:30 Friday evening.

Investigators want to speak with a shirtless man who was in the area at the time.

He was described to police as heavy-set and in his mid-to-late 50s with a balding head and a beard.

He was driving a silver Chevy passenger vehicle – possibly a Cruz.

RCMP are asking business owners in Deer Lake to check their video surveillance footage. Anyone with information on the man is asked to contact RCMP (709-635-2173) or Crime Stoppers (1-800-222-8477).
