The town manager in Port au Choix has been recognized as the first recipient of the annual Derrick Bragg Leadership Award.
Lizeta Gould was presented with the award last Saturday in Corner Brook.
Government says Gould is being recognized for her leadership, and “innovative” approach municipal government and regional collaboration.
The creation of the award was announced earlier this year to honour the legacy of former cabinet minister Derrick Bragg, who passed away in January 2024 after a battle with tongue cancer.
