The number of lab-confirmed COVID cases have dropped after seeing a spike in late September.
As of September 28, 69 confirmed COVID cases were reported in the province, but since then the numbers have steadily dropped to 15 by mid-November.
There was one death in the most recent reporting period, while just under a quarter of the population 65 and older had received their booster vaccine.
Flu cases are behind where they were this time last year. Late 2024 saw a sudden and early onset of the flu.

Flu vaccination rates for those 65 and older are just under 38 per cent while only 17 per cent of the general population is vaccinated for the flu.
Health officials warn that the incidence of all forms of respiratory illness tend to rise as the temperatures dip and people spend more time indoors.
