The St. John’s Regional Fire Department responded to two separate calls in the capital city area in the last 24 hours.
There were no injuries following a house fire on Valleyview Road in Kilbride last evening. All occupants managed to get out safely. The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
Meanwhile, another fire was reported on Fort Amherst Road around 2:40 this morning. Two people were sent to hospital for treatment. The RNC’s General Investigation Unit has been called in.
