Suspects have been identified and charges are anticipated after RCMP recovered equipment reported stolen from a business in Clarenville last month, as well as a Bobcat stolen from the St. John’s region during the search of a property on the Witless Bay Line late last week.
RCMP searched the property on Friday.
Police say a plow and sander previously reported stolen from Clarenville and a piece of heavy-duty equipment related to a separate break, enter and theft reported to the RNC on November 21st, were recovered during the search.
Holyrood RCMP also recovered an 18-foot equipment trailer stolen from Clarenville. Police estimate the combined value of the recovered property to be in excess of $175,000.
Police are thanking the public for information provided over the course of the investigation.
