A 25-year-old woman was arrested and charged after crashing the car she was driving on Main Street in Peterview on the weekend.
RCMP were called around 4:15 Saturday morning, and responding officers noticed signs of impairment in the driver.
The woman was assessed by paramedics at the scene and provided breath samples at the detachment that police say were two and a half times the legal limit.
Her licence was suspended and her vehicle was seized and impounded.
She was released to appear in court at a later date.
