MADD Canada is urging those out enjoying the holiday season not to drink and drive.
Patricia Hynes-Coates says she’s not telling people not to enjoy themselves, but if you drink or imbibe, stay put or get a designated driver.
“My mission is to get you to separate the alcohol and drugs from driving. And be responsible. Remember that driving is a privilege, it’s not a right” says Hynes-Coates. “Plan ahead, have a designated driver, do not be the reason that someone’s loved one doesn’t come home this holiday season.”
