A storm that began on Boxing Day is still raging in some parts of the province.
The Avalon Peninsula and eastern Newfoundland got about 10cm of fresh snow, which began falling early in the evening as winds picked up. The snow has since turned to drizzle but roads are in rough shape in some places with a combination of snow, slush and water.
The snow is still coming down in central and the west coast and the Northern Peninsula are going to get a wallop today and tonight. Parts of Labrador will also feel the effects.
