The price of gas continues to rise, edging even closer to the $2 dollar a litre mark.
The regulated price of gas rose by 6.3 cents a litre last night. Diesel is up 4.7 cents a litre on the island and 4 and a half cents in Labrador West.
Furnace oil is up by just over 4 cents a litre. Stove oil increases by less than 4 cents.
The PUB says with current volatility in market commodity prices, another change is possible before next week’s regular adjustment to maximum prices.
