The province is seeing huge demand for campground reservations this year.

The online reservation system, which went live last Wednesday morning,  saw more than 6,000 reservations booked on that day alone.

Minister Andrea Barbour celebrated the fact in the House of Assembly.

That represents a 19 percent increase over launch day in 2025.

Barbour says provincial parks generated more than $1.6 million in revenue last year, the greatest amount to-date.
