The co-chair of St. John’s Pride is frustrated and fed up with parliamentarians who he says are using their time in elected office to tear down the Queer community and cause division.

Eddy St. Coeur was responding to Ontario Conservative MP Jamil Jivani’s negative comments and use of the word “degenerates” in relation to Pride events in that province.

St. Coeur didn’t hold back in response to the controversy on the Tim Powers Show on VOCM.

“Get out, go home, no one invited you,” was St. Coeur’s blunt response. “In fact, go back to Parliament, do your job and uphold the Charter of Rights and Freedoms; that is what you’re elected to do.”
