A teenager has been charged after getting behind the wheel while impaired.
Officers patrolling Torbay Road noticed a car whizzing by at speeds well over the posted limit just before 3:00 this morning .
It was determined that the 18-year old woman driving was under the influence.
She was released to appear in court on charges related to drunk driving.
