Canadians have been largely united in their reaction to U.S. President Donald Trump’s economic attacks on the country, but what do Americans think?

VOCM News took the opportunity to chat with American cruise ship passengers visiting the capital city to see what they think of Trump’s economic policies and his presidency to-date.

“I’m with Carney on this one,” said one American man visiting from New Jersey. One woman lamented that “we’ve been friends for so long, and it’s heartbreaking what’s going on…everything our fearless leader is doing is driving prices up for Americans.”
