Officers had to use pepper spray to get a handle on an unwelcome man who got rather feisty with them.
A 911 call came in around 2:20 this morning from someone in the Foran Street area who said a man who was known to them had showed up and kicked their door in.
Once police arrived, the man, who appeared to be under the influence of drugs, became combative and kicked an officer.
Pepper spray was used to get the man under control.
Once cleared at the hospital, he was taken to the lockup on charges of property damage, resisting arrest, assaulting a peace officer and breach of release order.
