A slew of Newfoundland companies are receiving money from the federal government to attend the Shipbuilding, Machinery and Marine Technology Trade Show in Germany.
Ottawa has set aside $250,000 to allow 28 companies to send representatives as part of a trade mission to the event.
That list includes nine companies that are either based in this province, or have a presence here.
At the event, businesses will be able to showcase their technologies to international buyers and build commercial relationships.
The trade show is taking place all week.
