NAPE is continuing its push for more support for public sector trade workers today with a rally in Clarenville.
The union held the first such rally two weeks ago outside the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s.
They say workers have been “underpaid, understaffed, and undermined” through the contracting out of their work, and that the issue has reached a “boiling point.”
Today’s rally is happening near the roads depot at the intersection of Manitoba Drive and Duffitt Road at noon.
