People in Deer Lake may notice increased military activity near the town this weekend.
It’s part of an exercise known as Thrusting Bayonet , which will take place in the Holstine Farm area.
People may hear blank ammunition being used, and see rubber inflated boats operating around the south side of Deer Lake and in the St. Jude’s area.
People are being asked to steer clear of active training areas. The training is taking place today and tomorrow.
