The Newfoundland and Labrador U18 AAA Major Hockey League says it is working with appropriate partners and member teams to address the effects of the withdrawal of the Central Impact from the league.

The Central Impact’s decision to cease operations leaves just four teams in the league, two in St. John’s and one each in Harbour Grace and Corner Brook.

The league says it’s first priority is to support those affected and review all available options for players while making the necessary adjustments to league operations and scheduling.

President Gerry Wicks says further information will be provided once those details have been finalized.
