The province’s fall flu and COVID vaccination program will be rolled out in a couple of weeks.

Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Janice Fitzgerald says the program will be rolled out later this month, noting that more information will be released shortly.

She says the vaccination campaign generally starts in the third week of October, and people should “stay tuned” for more information.

Shots are already available in some provinces with places like Prince Edward Island, Alberta and Ontario seeing an early start to the flu season.
