A man in Carbonear is $1-million richer after winning the September 8 Lotto Max draw.

Brian Doran is already making plans on what to do with the windfall. He plans to set up his children and grandchildren with enough funds for university and college. He’s also going to renovate his property, buy a new car, and take a big family trip.

Doran purchased the ticket online.

Despite winning the money, Doran says his Lotto Max habits won’t change. In fact, he already bought a ticket for this week’s draw, and he plans to use the same numbers tonight.

Tonight’s jackpot is $80 million.
