NL Housing says it is evaluating the responses received to three Requests for Proposals issued for supportive and transitional housing to accommodate the residents of Horizons 106.
The government lease on the former Airport Comfort Inn, which comes to an end December 31st, won’t be renewed.
NL Housing says it expected to be in a position to award those contracts to address varying needs, soon.
The RFP approach was taken by the provincial government in response to recommendations made in an AG report on transitional supportive living that identified the need for greater planning and oversight.
