There is not enough snow for residents to start snowmobiling quite yet in western Newfoundland.
Parks Canada has had to postpone the start of the season in Gros Morne National Park due to a “lack of consistent freezing temperatures and inadequate snow cover.”
The snowmobiling season, which usually runs from November 1 to May 15, has been delayed to December 15.
Parks Canada will issue further notices as conditions change.
